CZR has performed or assisted in the establishment of an environmental database for plants and animals on several projects. A biological resource inventory is routinely required during the course of each environmental assessment performed on projects for developments, wetland restoration planning, wetland success monitoring, and environmentally sensitive uplands. Inventories of plant and animal communities are made in the field. Community designators are then labeled on cover mapping for each project site. Wetland mitigation success monitoring additionally requires an estimate of percent survivability and percent areal coverage by species. Plant and animal species inventoried are tabulated for comparisons following each subsequent monitoring period.
