CZR provided services including jurisdictional wetland delineation of 1,300 acres of wetlands, endangered species assessments, and Section 7 coordination for a Habitat Conservation Plan, wetland mitigation, endangered dwarf wedge mussel surveys, WET II assessments, and NEPA documentation. Federal and state permits were issued for fill of 1,309 acres of bottomland hardwood. A relocation project of the dwarf-wedge mussel from two drainage basins was recently completed, and success monitoring will be conducted over a 10 year period. CZR designed wetland restoration of 900 acres of “prior-converted cropland” as a part of the mitigation requirements.
